Tim Bergling
Tim
Bergling, also known as Avicii, was a famous dj and music producer
from Sweden. He was born the 8th of September 1989 in Stockholm. He
grew up listening electronic music from artists like Daft Punk or
Swedish House Mafia, he got inspired by their music and he started hi
musician career in 2008 at the age of 18 making remixes from other
famous songs like Lazy Jones. He produced his first single at the
same year called “Manman”, and continued producing and creating
new music till 2011 where he finally became a renamed dj with his
single Levels, beeing nominated as Best Dance Song at the 2012 Grammy
Awards.
After
that he continued producing worldwide hits that made him win the
“Best Electronic Musician” at the 2013 MTV awards. During that
period he also did worldwide tours and became more famous with great
hits like “Wake me up” or “Hey Brother”, but there was one
problem, he was so shy that he couldn’t play in front of a great
mass of people so he started drinking a lot of alcohol because he
felt doing that he lost all his shyness. That fact produced him a
several pancreatitis, that was the reason why he stopped doing tours
in 2016, and started caring more about his health.
Finally,
he spent his last 2 years away from the concerts and worked on his
third and last album called “Stories”, he finally comitted
suicide the 20th of April 2018. His manager argumented he was in a
deep depresion and he just wanted to found peace.
